Minister's Award of Excellence – Rising Star

Congratulations to Tarah Hodgkinson, assistant professor of Criminology, who was awarded a Minister’s Award of Excellence by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities.

She was honoured in the Rising Star category for her research that has significantly advanced knowledge in policing, spatial criminology and crime prevention, and her dedication to community engagement and social justice that have had tangible impacts on the well-being of communities like Brantford.

Hodgkinson received her award at a ceremony in Deseronto, ON from the Minister of Colleges and Universities, Jill Dunlop.
